A happy 2008 from RichmondWolfpack.com. It's been a while since we've updated the website so let's get things rolling.
First, basketball game watches are rolling along and we begin conference play Saturday, January 12 at Chapel Hill against rival UNC-CH. If you have not already done so please click the link on the right hand menu to sign up for our game watch email alerts.
Next, if you think you have to travel to NC to see the Wolfpack in action think again. Several events are taking place around the commonwealth including:
* Our men's wrestling will be at Liberty on January 12 at 2 p.m.
* Our men's wrestling will be at the University of Maryland on January 26 (College Park is a shorter drive than to Raleigh)
* Coach Yow and our women's basketball team will be at UVA on Friday, February 1
* Our men's and women's Track and Field with be at VT on Saturday, February 9
* Our men's tennis will be at ODU on Sunday, February 24
* Our men's basketball will be at UVA, also on Sunday, February 24
Also, Dereck Whittenburg and his Fordham Rams will be at the University of Richmond on March 5.
The Tidewater NCSU Club will be the host of this years Spring Caravan for Virginia. Details will be posted on the website when they become available.
It's also been a while since we've done an Alumni Profile. If you would like to nominate somebody to be profiled please email us. On a similar note, if anybody has any news they would like to share send that along as well.
We are looking forward to a great 2008 for the NCSU Club of Richmond. Upcoming events include our annual freshmen send-off as well as other alumni happenings.
