Dr. Philip Turner has been Pastor of Pine Street Baptist Church in the Oregon Hill area of Richmond for 16 years.  A native of  Raleigh, he has served his neighborhood and community for these years through outreach programs and inspiration.

Dr. Turner is also a huge Wolfpack fan!

In fact, he has devoted a room at his chuch to NCSU.  Here are some pictures of the room :


So if you are in the Oregon Hill area check out the NCSU room at Pine Street Baptist Church.  As this past Saturday showed, you can accomplish anything through the power of prayer!

  Philip is the biggest state fan I have ever known and I have known him for 42 years. As his brother, we have had some fun times together but last Saturday in Raleigh, sitting on the floor watching State beat Carolina was up at the top. We were probably the oldest two jumping up and down on the court after the game. What a thrill. Go see his room sometime and visit his church. He is a great preacher as well as a great fan of the Pack. Go Pack !!
